accessible, although you could make it so, once you got the chair on
board.
Thanks again for all the suggestions on "The Perfect Boat".
I think it's been fun for all who have taken interest, and a
good chance for all us to be introduced to new boats and new ideas.
During these Winter days, days of short light, low sun and lots of
snow in some parts of the country (USA), I think it's been fun to do
a little "Mind Traveling" in preparation for the Spring and Summer.
(Some of you can remember Summer. That's the time when that
giant orange orb is high in the sky, and we are saying "It' too hot."
"Sure glad I'm sitting here in my boat on this nice cool lake",
and just dive over the side if I really gets Too hot.
Summer will come.)
Enough philosophizing.
My current top favorite is the GP-16 16'x 7' cabin scow with
landing craft type bow ramp.
It was new to me, but very nice concept. With my wife having
had both hips replaced, the bow ramp would be a God send for
her to get in and out of the boat.
I understand that with The Higgins Boat ramp plus the 28-in. doors
make it wheelchair accessible.
I know the old Bolger Tennensee with plans from the now
Defunked "Common-Sense-Boats" was also wheelchair accessible,
as the Owner of "Common-Sense-Boats" met with a hang gliding
accident and was therefor required to build and use his boats
in a wheel chair.
I just recieved an email from the designer Jim Betts.
He can be reached atPointpubco@...
The boat and description can be seen at.

and a very nice construction page with lots of pics and descripions
can be seen at

Looks like a winner to me. Not a Bolger Boat, but very Bolgeresque.
(Is that a word?)
I think he would approve. Like to hear any comments he might have,
and any comments from anyone else who has, or has built one.
Thanks to everyone again
Getting close now, unless somebody surprizes me with something
completely different.
