Bolger "Fiddler II" motorboat

Has anyone heard of the Fiddler II motorboat design being built? It
looks like either a giant Skimmer (I had one once and it was great
fun), or a small Watervan. I would be curious to see if anyone had
photos of the vessel in action, or reports of its performance.

I am wondering additionally whether the design could sustain a box
sharpie hull-treatment, as Bolger has done to some of his powerboat
designs which originally had flat bottoms. It would perhaps add a bit
of rough water capability, plus lower wetted surface area at planing
speeds.

But there could be some risk of adding needless extra weight and
building complication for very little increase in performance.

Any thoughts on this?
