Re: Re: [bolger] Micro Navigator?
The closest thing I know of to a Micro Navigator is Stan Muller's self-designed version. Stan has grafted a pilothouse onto a standard Micro. It looks very nice. Stan is converting his Micro to a power tug, and forgoing the sail rig.

Don did not answer your question, if Navigators have been build and sailed.
As far as I know, from the Net, there are some building projects, but I
didn't find a finished and sailing one.
The article Don is referring to, is probably Phil Bolgers article in Messing

Hi Bill,
I am living with the same question. A year ago, I almost ordered plans for

Bill, on this post there is a link and if you go to it you will see a
detailed sketch of the Micro Navigator.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Smallboats/message/334
Later on I hope to do a more detailed article on this fine boat. To me it is
far superior to the basic Micro, of course that depends a great deal on what
you like. MAIB did an article on the Micro Navigator but I don't have the
issue that covered it. Hope this helps. Don

Has the Micro Navigator ever been built? I've seen drawings and
articles about the design, but I've never seen any actual photos or
read of any accounts of one being sailed.
There's a good chance I've missed something somewhere. If you can
point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it!
