Big sticky ball of thread!

A small request. Would it be asking too much of our valued group members to
occasionally trim the thread on our discussions. Often I appreciate being
able to connect a new comment or question to the posting that prompted it.
But this glue discussion is starting to generate some messages that must be
approaching five pages long or longer. A bit of judicial "prunning" now and
then would be appreciated by me and my aging computer. Thanx.
