Re: [bolger] micro trailer
It is best to have the keel fully supported along its entire length by a central
board with chocks that follow the shape of the keel. The two support bunks
merely keep the boat upright and do not support the hull.
My trailer is a converted "caravan" chassis and has suspension and brakes!
Good luck

Hi group,
I'm goling to build a Micro, and I was given a boat trailer
the other day, so I thought I'd get started and modify it. I've seen
the web page on the micro trailer, but the bunk setup has me a little
confused. Is all the weight taken on the keel, at each end of the
lead piece? Can anyone give me a description of how the bunks are
actually set up? Even better, does anyone know of a photo of a Micro
trailer on the web? Has this thread been discussed before?
Regards,
Col
