I don't think I could ask to borrow that sail. I will make up a polytarp lug
for LS before then.

But having seen it myself, it is a lot of boat!

You ought to have Chuck L. bring Tim Webber's sail for the boat with him to
the messabout. I'd love to go for a sail in her sometime.

JB who spent yesterday riding around in his bosses metalflake monster, but
hey, we did catch some nice spotted bass!

Is this Scram Pram coming to Rend Lake? I would very much
like to see one.

Max
My brother and I just finished the second power outing with the Scram Pram.
It might be of some interest to the group to have a performance report. I've
been using a 2 hp Evinrude for power, as I'm still gathering parts to rebuild
my Johnson 5.5. Well, the 2 hp is *really marginal*. I'd expect that it moved
in the 3 mph range wide open, maybe a bit more. With a bit of current and a
fair breeze, the large superstructure would have made the boat
uncontrollable.

I am sure that my 5.5 will handle it just fine, and I now think that a 7.5
would not be overpowering it.
