Thanks for the links, Vince. What ever Don Elliott's vices may be, he
certainly is a gifted illustrator. I wonder if the "centerboard forward"
design concept was a factor in the rudder failure. If memory serves, Bolger's
"St. Valery" design features a similar forward mounted centerboard, but has a
monstrously large rudder, evidently in compensation. Anyone have any thoughts
on this configuration?
