Was the the DFPA - The Douglas Fir Plywood Association? I have (or
had) some plans for them for a building a boat storage shelter on the

floor. Must date from the 1960's.

Do any of the older, west coast (of North America) members remember plans
published by the Plywood Manufacturers Association -- or something like
that? My best friend and I built a 7 foot something skiff when we were 12
or 13, using one of those plans -- that would be around 1963. They were free
for the taking at the lumberyard. Anyway, if anyone runs across these,
they were written for the home builder, are easy to follow and turn out some
nice little boats. As I recall, they were printed in blue ink on white
paper, with a large blue banner for the title on the front page. I've
looked, but haven't seen them for years.
Sigh! A little bit of nostalgia, there.

P.S. The skiff only leaked a little.

To all,

If memory serves, he was also the head of the local 'Traditional'
