[bolger] International Marine Publishing Policies
Hello all,
seldom
if ever printed more than one edition of their books. However, unlike
most
publishers, they print a large first edition, usually about 25,000
copies,
keep it in their catalog until sold out and don't very often have
remainders
that they discount. The only book I can remember that had remainders
was
Bolger's 30 Odd Boats.
I don't remember exactly where I came by that bit of information, but I
think that John Guzzwell was the source when I asked him the same
question
about his book, "Modern Wooden Yacht Construction".
I do know that Harold Payson has re-published his books on his own
after IM
sold out the original edition.
