Yes. Better prices come up regularly on EBay, though still not cheap.
Also check with Powell's Books and Advanced Book Exchange.

All those books can be borrowed from 'better' libraries through
interlibary loan. The trick is to walk up to the front counter and ask:
"to speak with the librarian" [who is seldom at the front counter]...
he or she will know how to locate and order books through interlibrary loans.
Boy are they expensive!!!!

Sorry those links don't work,

Search www.amazon.com on Books, Author = "Philip C. Bolger"
and they have a complete list including the obscure and out of print.

...though the best resource is the magazine
_Messing About in Boats_ in which Bolger
publishes an article once ever two weeks.
Bruce,
Since joining the list a set of books have been mentioned on the
list. I have a copy of Boats with and open mind from my local library
but where can I get the others and is there a definitive list of Bolger
books in print?

A good place to search for out-of-print Bolger books is
http://www.bookfinder.com
if you don't already know about it. It searches four or five different
used- book databases and will list all available editions ranked by
price. It's wonderful -- I buy a lot of books through it -- and I
recently got a copy of the original "Instant Boats" (featuring Teal
step-by step, with smaller sections, including plans, for Elegant Punt,
Surf, Zephyr, 12-Foot Kayak, and the Folding Schooner) for $10 from a
bookseller in Kentucky, of all places.

Good luck.
