[bolger] Micro update

I re-did it for the LS, thinking that tracing the pattern might lead to
inaccuracies. in retrospect, i wouldn't have noticed the 1-2mm
inaccuracies from tracing, becuase they would have been hidden by the
15mm error in the sheer clamps! ;(

Dearie me - it's slab-sided BOLGER boats we're talking about, not replicas
of historical gems. Bang 'er together and gerrit painted. THEN you'll get
into the water and get some enjoyment out of it before you're kicking up
daisies.

Use the first side as a template for the the second. How long did the
first take to lay out - 3 hours? Using that side to lay out the second
will do two things: it will assure the two sides are identical and it
will save you about two hours and 45 minutes!

In cutting out panels, I like to cut a little bit outside the lines and
do the final trim to the line with a low angle block plane. This really
helps fair any wobble you might have had in cutting the curves.

Hi all - waiting for the time to update the web site, I've completed
the lofting of the sides of the boat. Working on the floor (VERY
uncomfortable, even with knee pads!), it took me about 3 hours to do
everything. Pretty easy, basic stuff. I found a few of the points
clearly off, in particular the forward sheer curve.
Ready to cut now. Question: would you use the port sides as a pattern
for the starboard ones, or do you prefer to redo lofting again?
