Haven't seen it, but, I don't think Bolger gets any money for it. We're
lucky to get as much as we do--MAIB is worth the price along for the
Bolger & Friends columns.
I am amused by SA's fiesty attitude. We even saw it
when she was here for a while. The message seems to be
"don't critique a PCB&F design unless you want a phone
call from SA demanding that you account for yourself."
I think the problem is that we have been all so
conditioned to just get along, that we feel a little
threatened by someone who will so feircely defend
their position. SA is obviously a person with a
burning passion for her work. Would we all were so
passionate about what we do with our lives...

Give 'em a break, I say. Putting together 24 columns a
year isn't that easy to do. This probably seemed more
important to them at the time, anyway. That passion
again, you know. You may be comforted that they will
be presenting a design in the next issue.

(I do agree that it belonged in the letters. But what
would Bob Hicks in their normal spot if they didn't
send anything else. I'll bet he doesn't pay them that
much for their material.)

Just received my April 15 issue of MAIB in yesterday's mail.
The "Bolger on Design" column was a big disappointment. Instead of
a design and PCB's comments, it consisted of a reply to some comments
made by Renn Tolman about PCB's "Double Eagle". It would have fit
better in the letters column rather that BoD.
Any body else think so, or is it just me?
