Re: Bolger Designs

Kevin,

If you look at the website version of this list on Yahoo, there is a
Database option. One of the options there is a list of the designs by
number, name, length, power/sail, and a source of more info. it
increases the thirst for info, instead of slaking it.

There is info in a book or online for most of the more popular
designs. Otherwise, contact the designer directly by fax or letter.
(Phone is best left to those actually doing business with him. E-mail
is not an option.) Contact info (from the files section of the web
site) is

Phil Bolger & Friends

66 Atlantic St.
Gloucester, MA 01930-1627, USA

or

P. O. box 1209
Gloucester, MA 01930, USA

(the latter being up to six hours faster...)

Hi Kevin -

Welcome.

As you follow the list over time, you will learn to share our
frustration in the fact that there IS NO catalog. Best bet is to
read "Boats with an Open Mind," subscribe to "messing about in
BOATS," and link to Tim's site:

http://www.ace.net.au/schooner/sites2.htm#start

Phil & Susanne would like to produce a catalog some day, but they
woudl have to stop designing boats in order to have time to do that.

Hi, all. Im new in this group, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me
where I can find the spec's on all bolgers designs? Of course I know of all
of the 'Instant Boats' by Payson, but was wondering where I can find his
full catalogue?

I wonder...does it have an intaligo dugong worked into the wood in the bow?

Hello Guys

Peter - Here's another to add to your list. We have right here in Bluff NZ
(the end of the earth !!!) a Bolger Cruising Canoe, the 26' version
mentioned recently. I've only seen it out once in the harbour under power
and my eyes nearly poped out. Since then its been in the yacht club
compound (I'm not a member) and I've never been able to catch the owner for
a yarn!!
