bid, it went up. Does that mean I didn't get to the reserve point?

Chuck,

I think it means somebody loaded their "limit" bid and the site software
automatically increments the bid until it matches the limit. This allows a
bidder to get the item "at or below" his/her limit but it's a pain if you
are bidding in the "dead zone".
