It seems that a drum 1.75 feet in diameter by 2.66 feet has a volume
of 6.3988... cubic feet. In fresh water (about 62.4 lbs/cu ft)
it buoyancy, totally submerged, would be almost exactly 399.23... lbs less
the weight of the drum. In water that is salty, a bit more, to 409.53...
lbs.given really salty (64lbs/cu ft).
