WYSIWYG is a horse of a completely different breed and Ken

I was wondering about the Bolger Skimmer. It looks like fun. Could
it be pressed into service as a tender or is the capacity too small
to carry two full size adults?
Do you think it would tow OK?

I wrote Ken Hankinson regarding the WYSIWYG asking what was the
thinking behind thr design. His reply was:
WE SEE THIS DESIGN MUCH AS WE DESCRIBE IT ON OUR WEBSITE AND IN OUR
CATALOG - AS AN EASY AND LOW COST WAY TO GET ON THE WATER IN LIEU OF
COSTLIER RIGID OR NON-RIGID INFLATABLES. THE BOAT IS STABLE,
DURABLE, AND SERVICEABLE BUT NOT THE ANSWER TO EVERYONE'S NEEDS. IT
IS TRULY " WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET". IT MAKES NO PRETNETIONS
THAT IT IS THE "SAY-ALL" AND "DO-ALL" AS A DINGHY OR OTHER TYPE OF
SMALL BOAT.
WE DON'T KNOW WHAT THE INSPRIATION WAS BEHIND THE DESIGN BY CANADIAN
PETER FISHER, BUT IT HAS BEEN IN OUR LINE-UP SINCE 1988. WE HAVE
NEVER HAD A BAD REPORT FROM ANYONE WHO HAS BOUGHT THE PLANS FROM OUR
FIRM. I SUSPECT THAT IF ANYONE DOES HAVE A COMPLAINT IT MAY BE
BECAUSE THEY PICKED THE WRONG DESIGN OR HAD EXPECTATIONS BEYOND WHAT
THE BOAT IS CAPABLE OF DELIVERING. IN ANY CASE, THEY WOULD NOT HAVE
MADE MUCH OF AN INVESTMENT IN EITHER TIME NOR MONEY IN THE PROCESS.

Please note that he wrote back in caps. Wheter he was "shouting"
at me or not, I don't know.
Just a thought, but there are people out there who would look
at "Micro", Old Shoe", the "AS29" et al; with about the same disdain
that has been expressed towards WYSIWYG.
