I had some epoxy that didn't want to cure, but did eventually -- I was
lucky, it was on the rudder, so I could just leave it alone for as long as
it took. Still, I would give it more time, as scraping it off has to be a
horrible job. Keep it as warm as you can.
Another time, I thought the epoxy hadn't cured, but it turned out to be a
major case of amine blush -- there was a sticky film all over the hull that
washed off with warm water (I added a capful of ammonia cleaner, but that's
optional.) So maybe another option is to test wash a small area?

Building Escargot. Been working like maniac to get boat done enough
for the center for wooden boat show in late June. I laid down a
quick layer of epoxy on the upper side of the boat in a few places.
Rolled it on. Thin layer. Three days later it is still slightly
tacky to the touch. One side of the boat, the side in the sun..
seems to have dried almost all the way... so I guess I will position
all of boat in sun to see if that will help. Maybe I used some old
epoxy. I am almost sure I used enough hardener. Could I have used
too much? I don't think so...... but..... Maybe I made my first
miscount?
So any ideas as to what I do now!!??
Weather is in 80s here today and tomorrow. No rain.
Thanks.

I have been in your predicament at times. I've used an infr-red heat

One suggestion. If its still tacky, try scraping some off using acetone and
a putty knife or ?. This should work. Its a real pain to do. Let the
surface dry well and epoxy it again. Try a small area and see how it
scrapes off before doing the whole thing.
