[bolger] Re: Where is the Story Shipyard?

I don't have road directions to the Story Shipyard, but as of three
years ago the phone was 508-768-6291, and the mail address was box 231,
Essex, MA 01929. It's a little way to the Northwest of the town
center, as I recall, and it's not a big shop. Brad was still building
Chebaccos when I went to visit, but not getting a lot of orders.

I am new to this Bolger Group here but have built a Nymph and Light
dory. I'm currently building an Oughtred MacGregor.

A recent business trip took me to Lowell, Massachusetts, and, on a
lark, I drove over to the Gloucester-Essex area in the hope of seeing
the Story shipyard. Naturally, it was late and dark and I couldn't
find anything. I had to ask for directions more times on that
Massachusetts trip than in the last ten years combined. I suppose this
kind of isolation is a mixed blessing for the residents of the Bay
State - or perhaps it is simply my limited ability to navigate on
twisting roads in the dark. The only sign I found was "Chebacco
Antiques" which is at a crossroads in Essex (I believe). I would have
taken a picture of it for Bill Samson's newsletter but it was too dark.
Has anyone seen Brad Story's establishment and how do you get there?
Does he continue to build Chebaccos?
