For those in the U.S.: Dial 800-804-7670. Ask for Joe. He's the U.S.
agent for Water Craft. Call in the evening, he's got a day job. The
issue with the allegedly delectable article(s) will be mailed early in
the new year.

Hi, even Clyde has come into the modern world of egroup. Jamie is the
one who told me how to get Water Craft. There is a US contact. Clyde
Wisner
Yes, Mr. Samson's gloating is almost too much to take.

Bill, is there an e-mail address or website listed in that magazine? I
searched Barnes&Noble.com and drmag.com (who claim to have every magazine in
the world) and got nothing on Water Craft. I hesitate to make an overseas call.

If Inflatables International (another UK specialty mag) can take my web based
subscription, maybe these guys can too?

Help us poor yanks Bill, please!

Gloat Gloat! I've read it and you lot ain't!

The website is

www.watercraft.co.uk

Their email address iswatercraft@...
(though I've never had any luck with getting them to respond to email.)

FYI Pete Greenfield started Classic Boat mag, which was then taken over
because it was so successful, and Pete left out in the cold. Ditto with
"The Boatman". This time, Pete is running Water Craft as a one-man
business, subcontracting jobs as necessary. Excellent mag - but don't
spread it around, or he'll be the subject of a hostile take over bid again!
Ain't a capitalist economy wonderful?

Hi All,

Couldn't someone post that wonderfull article about Phil & friends?

Chuck.
What's the date on that issue? It doesn't show an article in the
Nov/Dec
1999 issue on their website; www.watercraft.co.uk/index.htm.

Greetings, fellow obsessives!

Quietly drooling with delight, here - My copy of Water Craft has just come
through the letter box and it has a WONDERFUL seven page article about
PCB&F - entitled "Phil Bolger's Fresh Thinking."

There are photos of Lily (of course!), Resolution, Rose, Queen Mab,
Gloucester Light Dory, Stretched ditto, St Valery, William D. Jochums,
Folding Schooner as well as a number of study drawings and photos of Phil
and Susanne themselves. Much the best article about PCB&F in recent years.

I guess this issue will be a collectors item ( - probably in the
not-too-distant future when it sells out!)

Water Craft is available from Pete Greenfield Publishing, Bridge Shop,
Gweek, Cornwall, TR12 6UD, UK, tel: +44 (0) 1326 221424

I should point out that I have no connection with that organisation, and am
NOT on commission!

YIBB (- sorry Chuck, couldn't resist!)
