Re: [bolger] Re: Another Micro
Mike -
The closest facilities are at the north end of Town Farm Bay. The marina
there is Point Bay Marina, and their number is 802-425-2431. They are booked
up with long-term customers, so if you are looking for a transient slip or
mooring, it isn't too early to call them for the first weekend in August.
The next closest marina facilities are in Essex, NY (about 5 miles north of
Kingsland Bay) or Westport, NY (about 7 miles south of K Bay).
The chart you want to look at is #14783.
David
Just finishing the snappy, new rope rub rail and painted name on "Whispering
Jesse," now a truly elegant Elegant Punt (at least from 10 feet away or so),
getting all fancied up for the Lake Champlain Bolger Messabout, August 4 and
5!

Hey
Capt.
two questions. could you scan in a picture of your tiller
arrangement? and, What size motor is that on the stern?
Call this unprofessional curiosity. these are a couple of the
things I will be tackling this month (June).
I just got the boat covered in glass today. E.A.S.T. epoxy from
Noah's boat supply works very well. Nice handling characteristics.

For anyone needing their daily fix of Micro's, here's my entry into field.
She was built in 1995, launched in 1996.
She regularly gets comments from the other sailors who seen surprised
that such an "ugly duckling" sails as well as she does.
People do marvel over the bow transom, though.
