Hey Guys & Gals,
I just watched the Shuttle go up from my back porch. What a site! North sky
lite up like the sun was coming up and a flaming orange streak of light about
a quarter mile long rose up slowley and streaked to the east & climbing.
After about 20 seconds you could see the solid fuel boosters drop off &
continue to burn out as they dropped back into the ocean, at which point the
color of the burn changed to bright white & looked like a star slowley
mooving east and up into the moon lite night sky. Sorry y'all missed the
show.....it got my heart pumping.......That's the 3rd shuttle launch i've
seen. 2 from the Cocoa Beach Pier and this one from my back porch, through
the pines & palmettos.....
