RE: [bolger] re: flat bottom trailer
Paul
Do you have any pictures posted to the web of your JB and your hand trolley?
I am using a simple dolly made from a two by four with two lawn mower wheels
on 1/2 inch lag screws for axles. It works OK but not great, especially
when I have to move the boat over sand. I'm looking for some better ideas.

Just a thought, If your trailer has a solid floor , the instead of
changingthe the trailer you could make a hand trolley to fit the JB
and the trailer. when you arrive at the ramppush boat and trolley off
the trailer , wheel it through the car park , past the long line of
plastic stink boats waiting thier turn ( you may sing or laugh
merrily as you do this. Even better get a child to sit in the boat
and say things like 'move over stink boats' , Avast ye landlubbers'
Or' make way for a real boat') With cheap wheelbarrow tyres you wont
even need a boat ramp. Push the trolley into the water to launch and
recover. Notice howyour trailer isnt rusting up. Our JB lives on its
trolley as the trailer also has 5 other functions. cage trailer,
hobie trailer( yes we didnt sell it) wood trailer, Rubbish trailer,
Camping trailer. the trolley has eyes to hoist it and/ or the boat
up to the rafter, Mind you theres half a folding schooner parked
there at the mo'
cheers from trolley land, Paul
