Hi everyone,

 

I'm delighted to report that Richard Spelling (richard@...), who lives by "the muddy waters of Oklahoma", is going to take over the editorship of Chebacco News, which will have a name change to "Chebacco" when he takes over.

 

Richard is soon to be embarking on the construction of the Light Cruiser version of Chebacco, the one with the pilot house, and so makes an ideal candidate for coming up with fresh ideas for the future.

 

The website is (logically!)www.chebacco.comand you can already consult the back-numbers of Chebacco News at that site.

 

I'd like to take this opportunity of publicly thanking Richard for keeping the ball rolling.  Personally, I'll be delighted to read a Chebacco webzine that I haven't edited myself!

 

Another good piece of news is that Chuck Leinweber (chuck@...) is to be marketing a CD-Rom which will contain, among other goodies, ALL the backnumbers of Chebacco News.  This will be updated from time to time with new issues as they appear.

 

Finally I'd like to express my thanks to all of you who have sent me emails expressing kind words about my past work on Chebacco News.  All I can say in return is "Aw shucks!"
