RE: [bolger] june bug troolley, nymph rig

Paul

I cannot locate drawings of your june bug trolley in the june bug section.
Perhaps I am an airhead. Would you check to see if you can find them there?

Would it be asking too much for you to email the drawings to me as a JPEG
attachement? (Email tomichaelgalvin@...) Alternately, perhaps you
could post them to the bolger2 group, where there is still space for more
files.

drawings of june bug trolley are in the files in the june bug
section. might not last long due to lack of space. a suggestion for a
nymph rig , why not a gunter, which is like a 2 piece mast really.
or If you need telescoping aluminium you might try a extendable
swimming pool scoop. "borrow "one from a good friend to try it first.
Maybe David Ryan has left one on the beach.
Personally I'd do something in wood as it is a fine acompanyment to a
boat you've built yourself , even making sails has it joys!
David , Ilost my car like that once. I Rode my pushie around for two
days before I found it. Apparently I'd left it at a party, Must have
been a good one as I didnt even remember the lovely lasses Whos
driveway I blocked all weekend , And they didnt seem to annoyed at
me turning up so late to retrieve it........

Cheers all Paul... in chilly kalgoorlie where it plummeted to -1 c
last night, bit of a change from 47 c a few months ago.

The catalog for Layline, Inc. has a section on gear for the Optimist
pram. It shows the boomed sprit rig in detail. ($200 for spars only)
Also a trolley ($225). So you can see that whittling away in your
basement can save a lot of money.

This catalog drives me completely crazy. These guys (Laylines and
their customers) love to complicate their boats. The racing Sunfish
rig has an adjustable outhaul and a Cunningham. How the class fathers
came to allow that must be a sad story.
