Re: Bolger Builders Speak Out

Great! Now I want a Cape Cod Frosty, too. Are we allowed to sail
these things in nice weather?

See the Frosty at:

The CABBS web site is www.cabbs.org
Fellow Bolger group memebers,

I have recently taken over as the president of a local boat building
club called CABBS. (Cleveland Amateur Boating and Boat Building
Society). The club was started in the 1960's as a source for Mirror
Dingies and has evolved into a loose knit network for back yard
builders in North East Ohio. Part of my job as president is to help
fill the monthly newsletter with interesting boatbuilding info. Many
members build instant type boats of many designs and types. After
following this Bolger group for a while it struck me that an
informative article about Bolger and his designs from an amateurs
point of view might be interesting to our club. If anyone is
intersested it writing a short article about their boat and it's
designer Mr. Bolger I would be happy to include it in our newsletter.
An article from someone in an exotic local about a home built boat
would be of great interest too. (Compared to Ohio just about anywhere
is considered exotic)
From what I've seen there are several prolific writers here with very
strong feelings about Bolger boats. Also anyone interested in seeing
what CABBS is all about can visit our webb site at CABBS.org, on the
site are pictures of boats built by memebers and newsletters from the
past.

Thanks in advance and I hope to be posting updates on my upcomming
Pirogue soon.
