As of December 2000, the hull and one side was together and the
engine was in place. The starboard side was assembled and waiting to
go on after the big pieces were put inside.
Frank
engine was in place. The starboard side was assembled and waiting to
go on after the big pieces were put inside.

Hi,
I'm new to the group. Does anybody have an update to the
construction of Tahiti design #653? It's a 38' passage maker with an
estimated range of about 5000nm as I recall. This is the boat I
dream of upon retirement. Last I read the bottom panel with cutwater
attached had been right-sided. This was awhile ago so I'd be
interested in the current status and if it has been lanched.

I'm new to the group. Does anybody have an update to the
construction of Tahiti design #653? It's a 38' passage maker with an
estimated range of about 5000nm as I recall. This is the boat I
dream of upon retirement. Last I read the bottom panel with cutwater
attached had been right-sided. This was awhile ago so I'd be
interested in the current status and if it has been lanched.
