The really frustrating part is that the Brick lives 85 miles away from me.
I would have had it out again a couple weeks ago, but I didn't have any
PFD's nor a way to get it to the water. For the maiden voyage I had borrowed
PFDs and my cousin-in-law's pickup truck. This last week I found
some of the orange horse collar PFDs on clearance at WalMart for about $5
each so I stocked up.
I bought some roof racks at a rummage sale the other weekend, but they need
to be modified to fit my vehicle. They're designed to clamp to the rain
gutters, but my vehicle doesn't have the correct style of rain gutter.
I'm in the process of modifying the clamps to clamp to the door frame.
I also need to modify the rudder to kick up.
Some day... Soon, I hope...

Looks GREAT !!!!!!!
Shorty
I have cut my Ugly Foam Brick (some may have seen in St Michaels last year) in half from the side
view, to make something like a skimmer (cut the bottom off). I used the bottom profile of "Bee" with
the idea that maybe I could add a cutwater to the bottom if necessary, or maybe just for fun. What I
think is really interesting is the bottom I cut off. It's all the Brick that's in the water normally
and might make some kind of "Abreviated Brick" sail board. It has probably 10-12" freeboard at
deepest rocker. Have to find a way to hold the mast up and mount the rudder but it might be fun. What
was that about modifying a "design"? Clyde

Looking Good!
Your pictures are not bad at all give they are real "screen shots".
It looks like you had some fun. I bet you are looking forward to the
next time you can take her out.
