Re: Micro dorade vent

Absolutely!
I not only put the vent in while the bulkhead was flat, on the forward
bulkhead I added a small bookshelf on either side. (I have a photo if
you want to see how it looks.) I built the whole unit stitch-and-glue,
then attached to the bulk head same way. It's been 6 years and the
interior of the boat is always dry, never musty.

I did add a bit of mosquito netting with velcro to keep the wasps from
taking up residence when I wasn't looking.

These Micro vents are amazingly effective, and so simple. My boat
was shut up summer and winter, and was still sweet inside.

Micro bulkheads are almost done, I was wondering if I could jump
ahead and add the dorade box on bulkhead A while its flat on the
ground and easier to work with - I have one already cut out ready to
go. Will it get in the way of the building process later on?
