[bolger] Slow vs. Fast

FBBB --

Well, it's done -- the bulkheads are glued and filleted, and I'm a
convert to slow resin.

Using WestSystem 105/206 I was able to work at my own pace. Not even
for a minute did I feel like I was racing against the clock. The resin
stays open and workable for so long, you always have a chance to go mix
some more. The amount of resin I *didn't* waste by making too much is
going to more than make up for expense of using a top drawer product,
purchased from a local marina.

The sheetrock screw clamping seems to have worked. I'll know for sure
tomorrow when I try to back them out.

Again, the 105/206 combo has been a real pleasure compared to my
experiences with faster resins, both epoxy and polyester.
www.cyber-marine.com 105 at $51/gallon and 206 at $21 for the matching
jug. Beats our local prices by a mile, and isn't too bad compared to
"no-name" products.

Two "pumps" of resin and hardner primes (both sides) about 8-10 feet of
2X4 to 2X4 joinery. Two "pumps" resin and hardner plus 4 TBLS micro
fibers and 4 TBLS colloidal silica seems to make a nice glue for the
same area.
