Fibreglassing Micro sides
FWIW, I glassed, filled, and sanded all the panels on the Dakota before
bending them on. I used 1/2" (12mm) MDO ply, 6 oz. cloth, 4 coats of
epoxy w/ filler in the final coat. It took the bends easily working
alone. My curvature is less than Micro, but OTOH I am using thicker ply.

Hi group,
Bulkheads are finished on Micro and thoughts are turning
to the side panels. Unlike my last boat I will fibreglass the sides
as well as the bottom. A question:
If I totally glass and then fill the panels with microballoons on the
flat, will they still be flexible enough to wrap around the frames?
I am using 9mm (3/8) instead of the specified 6mm. I imagine they
would be O.K., but didn't want to finish them and find out that
they're too stiff.
