While you're at it you might want to look over the plans of Redmond's
"Elver". A more modest endeavour but a pleasing little boat
nonetheless. I have a set of plans, unused, so there is no problem
about royalties etc. Are you interested particularly in a yawl? Or
just the Humber Yawl?

The direct link to the Nord Koster does not seem to work. Try this:
http://www.boatbldr.com/and click on boats.
http://www.boatbldr.com/and click on boats.
There are a couple of plans for sale at the Woodenboat store that you
should check out including PCB's useable drawings for Albert
Strange's 24'9" yawl Wenda, William Garden's Eel, a couple boats by
Ian Oughtred. Seehttp://www2.mailordercentral.com/wbstore/.
PCB has designed, or at least make premlimary drawings of, a Humber
Yawl-type designs from about 15' on up. It would be worth a direct
inquiry. See also the "Nord Koster" at
http://www.boatbldr.com/boats/koster.html.

strip planked topsides. It's about 24' long.

I will scan the chapter on Windfola from "Folding Schooners" and email it
directly to you. Although it is copyrighted material, I don't think Phil
objects to individuals swapping such material. I'm not sure how he'd feel
about it being posted publicly to a commercial outfit's site, such as Yahoo
Groups.

Is there anyone out there who can give me the specs on the Humber
yawl? There is a file at bolger2, it is an interesting design and I
was wondering if someone had "Different Boats" who could tell me what
Bolger says about it. Does anyone know if it has been built?
Thanks,

I couldn't find any Humber Yawls in "Different boats" but in "The Folding
Schooner" there's Windfola. I'm guessing that's one that you are interested
in, as it's the only one I could find in the files of Bolger2.
Windfola was designed as a lapstrake boat for day sailing and camping single
handed around Auckland, New Zealand.
Let me know if you want anymore info on it.
