Re: New Epoxy Information Warning
Actually, I like the book, but when it comes to epoxy I use Raka
because of the price (and good service). Seems just as good, from all
I can tell. I would use locally supplied West in an emergency, but it
would cost me twice as much, and I find it demoralizing to go into a
store with all that gold-plated, overpriced stuff in it. Plus that's a
40 minute round trip and I can have Raka delivered.

Not sure this is a good way. Usually you want the epoxy and glass on
the outside of the sandwich. Still, I suppose pitch is not a good core
material! Next thing you know they'll be using cubits.
I like the System 3 Epoxy Book, myself.

Okay, I jumped the gun. www.epoxyproducts.com is shamelessly
selling their own brand of stick-um and saying unkind things about OUR
favorites (and some interesting price comparisons). But there still
are some very interesting technical articles about epoxy sandwiched in
between their sales pitch; such as a good general and technical
discussion of amine blush, but you have to scroll through to find it.
