Different boats
It took me about a year and a half of having Different Boats on my
want list on 1/2 dozen used book sites both marine and general topics
before I was able to get a copy. Craig O'Donnell had a request for one
posted for years, but I see that it is gone now, so he probably has a
copy. I saw $75 requested for a copy not too long ago.
There was an individual on this group who stated that reprinting books
on a small scale is economical with modern technology. It would be
wonderful if Mr. Bolger could be talked into this. I know that he
doesn't have much time to spare, and maybe he doesn't want to
republish stuff that represents old thinking on his part, but these
books can stand on there own as literature and what they reveal of the
creative process, even if they might not reflect Mr. Bolger's current
thinking.
Any series of books that does not feature opulent female curves and
can keep a 15 year old boy reading (and dreaming) until 2:30 in the
morning, has got to have redeeming moral value.
