I have a bunch of stuff for vaccum bagging, but i
would imagine that you could bag a spar like that with
a shop vac if you had compliant wood. sounds easier
to me than a lot of hose clamos. That's what Chris
white did years ago for the spars on Juniper though I
imagine he used a vane pump.

Neet site, and good pictures. I am glad that when I
was building most of my bigger projects the internet
wasn't in general use. The idea of building a boat
and a web site seems just a bit much, but I am glad it
doesn't seem that way to others.

I was recently struck by a system that Jim Watson used
to cast his keel for a new sharpie. Called the lost
foam method. Cut the shape out of foam, bury it,
pour. See the West System site for more info.
