Re: [bolger] Digest Number 675 - Band Saw Books

Harry,
Finally decided on a bandsaw.

Not as fortunate as you, had to actually BUY one. Did my research and
went with the 14 inch JET - - 'neck & neck' with the Delta from all the
reviews & comments - BUT at a lower price & with 'attachments'.

From all that I've read and 'listened' to - a gentleman named Mark
Duginske is THE MAN. His latest book (1999) is 'BAND SAW - workshop
bench reference'. About $18.oo, discounted to about $14.oo. [I also
picked up a couple of his older books - used. One came in so far, and
the new one seems to be a updated version.]

Well worth the price. A lot of the info I know, BUT it cost me trips to
the library, and clipping lots of magazines over the last year or so.
Save your time and money - get the book.

Regards,
Ron Magen
