poof goes the epoxy

For those interested, if you hold a hot air gun to some epoxy in an
attempt to make it cure faster, it doesn't. The little puff of smoke
that comes from it must the active compents of the hardener going
away, so instead of 15 minutes it now takes 15 hours to cure...

Should have a Chebacco shaped pile of plywood this weekend! Not
building a strongback, put legs on one of the forms and one of
bulkheads. will level the assembly after it's together, add supports
where nessicary and go from there.
