Lapstrake Chebacco in Seattle
I agree - Very likely Jerome McIlvannie's Chebacco. If it was white, then
I'm 100% certain.
Jerome (from Yakima WA) is not an Internet buff, and you won't find him on
this list. Jamie Orr and I met him at the Port Townsend show in September
2000, when he told us he was almost there.
John Kohnen's Port Townsend 2001 pics show the boat off wonderfully, and
Jerome is to be congratulated in modifying Bolger's design SO successfully.
Most of us who make modifications are simply messing up a perfectly good
design, through unjustified optimism, ignorance and arrogance. (Been there,
done that, got several T-shirts . . .)
Please convey my congratulations to Jerome, if any of you happen to come
across him.
Cheers,
Bill
