JR Watson, Gougeon's first employees made a "glass"
bottom Micro, or posibly one of the tenders. It was
writen up in one of their boatbuilder/epoxyworks
issues. As to scratches, I think they would disappear
if the surface was wet, which would be constant on the
outside, and could be achieved on the inside with a

There had been some discussion on the topic earlier so I though it would be
of interest. My guess is that after awhile the Lexan would be scratched and
dulled to point of not being able to see clearly any longer. Bare feet
only, no sand, mud, etc. You couldn't beach it, push off a beach, etc.
Maybe if launched and used from a dock with barefeet or socks, it would last
a long time.
Still, interesting to say the least. What a wonderful way to view reefs and
underwater marvels.

Thanks for pointing out that glass boat. It's a Bolgerish design,
from what I can tell -- just planking something like a Surf's frames
