Bolger boat at Griers Ferry
I took my Gypsy - see her at:

to Griers Ferry Arkansas today for her third sail. What a nice
lake! We actually had some white caps going on. Of course the gypsy
performed well, though every time we run the tack against the sprit I
swear I'm going to build a wishbone sprit like the one Peter
Pillsbury has.
Griers Ferry is 2+ hours from where I live, but the rumours indicated
it would be a good place to sail, so I decided to go before it got
too cold. I don't regret it in spite of the later troubles.
I found out the axle on my "free" trailer is bent. It wore the new
tires out in about 200 miles and I had to call The Beautiful Donna to
come rescue me.
