I know exactly where you're coming from. A minimal pocket cruiser that can
be beached single handed and hauled up a slip by two people.

Not a sharpie, but maybe a 'blunty' - have you thought about the San
Francisco Bay Pelicans? They're flat bottomed prams, beamy, seaworthy (for
their size) and come in a variety of forms from a 12' open boat to a 16'
cabin boat. Very attractive under sail, too - if a tad clunky-looking close
up. A LOTTA boat for the size.
