Re: flu remedies,up-date...
Dennis,
It wasn't all that bad on the old stomach(god knows I've
swallowed worse!) and the Port did help soften the blow.
Banishment from the work place? Not really but I was given free
and ready access to the coffee machine, watercooler, staff lounge....in
fact,no one got in my way all day! I kinda liked the experience of
being"my own boss" for the day and may resort to more garlic and Port
next time I feel my co-workers are becoming to chummy!
Hope the queeziness has left you and that all is well!
Soncerely,
Peter "garlic breath" Lenihan, healthy once again on the shores of the
St.Lawrence..........

Criminy, Peter! It sounds as if the cure was worse than the disease.
My stomach is feeling a mite queezy just reading your post -- I hope
I'm not coming down with the flu.
Garlic vapors a body can handle. But stale port and garlic
vapors would require banishment from the workplace! Unless, of
course, you dabbed a little mentholatum behind your ears to make
yourself presentable.
Glad to hear you are feeling better.
