Geren: I don't know of anything on the net offhand, but you may find
some useful information by searching through the forums at WoodenBoat
magazine's web site ( www.woodenboat.com ). And, if you like, you
can post a message there asking for opinions.
As for books: Bolger's "103 Sailing Rigs" (used to be 101) is great,
but you'll have to order one, as you're not likely to find it on the
shelf anywhere. Todd Bradshaw's "Canoe Rig: The Essence and the
Art" has a good discussion of various rigs with gorgeous
illustrations, and it's useful for any small boat (not just canoes).
You can probably find it at Borders or Barnes & Noble. If you don't
want to spring for the book, just pull up a chair . . .
