Pirogue Leeboard

I will be building a Pirogue at the Cleveland Boat Show in Jan.2002
as a demo for our local boat building club. My co-builder has built
a scale model of the boat and is in the process of building the sail
rig. We are looking for leeboard and rudder advice for this design.
The details for the leeboard are less than clear on the drawings, I
have also seen a drop in board on someones site dedicated to this
boat. Any help would be appreciated.
