Re: Imminent rapture!

Bruce,
Nothing would please me more! However,I would feel somewhat cheap
in stealing Bob Hicks thunder not to mention the great suspense that
often accompanies the arrival of MAIBs to so many subscribers. All
part of the fun,doncha know!
So,crack open a cold one, kick back your feet and thank your lucky
stars we still have no snow to contend with.......Christmas will
eventually get here :-)
Sincerely,
Peter Lenihan, confident that before you can say Merry Christmas, your
curiosity will be quenched............

Re MAIB rates. I consider the value of reviewing 52 of Phil's
outstanding designs a year worth the price of the sub alone. The fact
that it's chock full off other readable, interesting idea generating
articles is just icing on the cake.

I look forward to its arrival with greater anticipation than a
Victoria's Secret catalogue.

the Non US subscriptions are several times more
expensive, to cover postage, and possibly to offset
re. ad non-revenue.

Been to long absent...not my fault, too much work and not enough play!

Congrats, Peter. See what happens to guys that like the AS29 and
quit sailing? Is Lestat the dinghy-to-be?

BTW, just read your write up on the Lake Champlain Messabout at
Duckworks...superb!

What countries? I live in Norway, not very far from the pole. Bob
Hicks sends me MAIB faithfully every month (not every second weeks as
you lucky folks in the new world). I highly recommend this beautiful
magazine. Your lat-long being out of focus is no excuse!

In our town we still have some perfectly legible signs stuck on
lightpoles asking "Are you ready for the Rapture?" and predicting a
specific date in 1991 or 1992 (can't remember). I suggest using some
of this material instead of glass on the outside of your boat. Ain't
technology wonderful?

Peter, you lucky bugger! At some stage you have to do some
describing for us poor folks in countries that don't see MAIB.
