Steve,

Your project is looking great. And, we'll hold you to the follow-on
boats!

Hi Bruce
Too late!!! The bug has bitten and has given me an incurable case of
buildanotherboatitis! I'm thinking of a Dakota next folowed by a
Wyoming. The Wyoming will be for retirement!

Lookin good! My sister wants me to build her one of these to cruise
up and down the Rideau Canal. Should look pretty sharp. I can't wait
to see finished pics, a ride in her at the Messabout would be
wonderful.

Be careful that the boatbuilding bug doesn't bite.

On the larger Bolger Sharpies, that must require
thousand of pounds of lead, how does one get it in
there? I have visions of the China Syndrome with the
lead melting its way throught he bottom of the boat.

What's the drill, I can't think of an easy way.

Hi Thomas
I began building Sept 15, 2001. I normally work an hour or two each
night after work and all day Saturdays. It is amazing how quickly
this boat has gone together. I have a heated garage in which to work
and I have found PCB's plans very easy to follow. I have made a
couple mistakes along the way but nothing to serious. I haven't kept
track of the hours. I think I'm about 80% done.

Looks very nice Steve. How many hours do you figure,
or; how many weeks, and how often in a week did you
work on it?

I have done the Maine - Ontario run at least once a
year for decades, whenever i get to that bridge over
Lake Champlain, and the creeks beyond, I think of a
boat like this to go out on.
