I pronunce it "Bol as in "bolder" and "ger" as in "german," but the
real questions is how does PCB pronounce it?

For a definitive answer you'll probably need to call the judge and hear it for yourself. When telling friends about the boat I'm "fix'n to build" or forcing them to pour over the plans with me, I've said "Jochems" so it sorta rhymes with scotch - ems, only drop the "t" sound. If Bill J. is tuned in maybe he'll set the record straight.

It's a soft g as in Genoa and general, and like the j in juniper and
junior.
