Re: MDO Test with photos
I'll see what I can rig up, and give it a try.
Also I have photos of some Meranti and Doug fir plywood that went
through about the same treatment. I'll stick them in the Photos
section if anyone is interested.

Rick,
Can you break them? How about sawing them the same size and breaking
them in a vise with a crescent wrench and a spring scale?

Can you break them? How about sawing them the same size and breaking
them in a vise with a crescent wrench and a spring scale?

Today I passed the 12 month mark on a little informal test on two
sided MDO.
A year ago I cut up some pieces and stored one inside (warm, dry
and out of the sun). The other two I painted with one coat of latex
primer plus one coat of latex semi (only the faces not the edges). Of
those two, one lived on my concrete driveway, the other floated in a
bucket of water, both in full sun with temps from 25f to 104f.
Today I took photos and cut them open.
The "bucket" piece is heavy and stained dark from the water. Other
than that they all seem fine.
