planing hull design question
Hi All,
I'm designing a planing hull...I've posted a drawing to the Bolger2
files at:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Bolger2/files/POWER%20CRUISER.pdf
As you can see, I've tapered the sides toward the stern, from the
maximum beam of 5'- 6" to approximately 3'- 6" at the transom. I
like the way it looks, but don't know if it's a good idea for a
planing hull...maybe I should keep the width more nearly constant?
Thanks in advance for any advice.
Russ
PS. the file is in pdf format...if you don't have Adobe Reader, it's
available free athttp://www.adobe.com
