more folding schooner

An interesting development in my schooner is that I'm going to
attemp to build WOODEN hinges. Since th decks are so beefed up I had
the thought that a bit of well seasoned Jarrah would do the Job. (
It was good enough for the Endeavour replica). I got out an old roof
beam from a house demolition An measured it up, Plenty of wood.
A fax to PCB got the reply of 'watch out for this, and good luck',
so here we go. I'll keep you all posted. Savings on buying steel may
almost be enough to build the Boat trailer.
