Re: [bolger] Re: MAIB delivery

As a resident of a State where everybody is very dependent on the Postal
Service and where nobody would be able to afford to receive MAIB with
its Bolger article (obligatory on topic insert) if the market was the
determinant of service, I am very much pro USPS.

Our company routinely receives or mails volumes of work orders to our employees across the USA from Colorado.

Going East, we can average 3 days to most parts. To the West such as LA, typical mail time is 5 to 7 days.

It's the mail system and yes it all started last fall, as expected. On the bright side, it's getting faster bit by bit, it used to be 2 weeks.

Bruce:

My delivery in CA has been weird also since early fall, due most likely
to the obvious reasons... I will get nothing for a month then 3 issues
in a week. Most recently the Jan 15 issue arrived before the Jan 1 and
then the Feb 1 came a few days later.

It's Ok though, I'm glad to get MAIB any time it arrives. I am sure
that Bob Hicks is mailing them at the proper time in the proper order
and I won't go into a rant on the Postal Service either. People who
compare the USPS unfavorably with private industry need to get outside
more, the one charges 34 cents and is mandated to serve every household
in the country, the other charges 20 dollars and goes where they want.
